$33K Lottery Ticket Sold At Westchester Gas Station

Someone in Westchester is celebrating a major lottery win after purchasing a top-prize-winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $33,578, officials said.

The ticket for the Monday, Dec. 4, TAKE 5 EVENING drawing was sold at Hartsdale Fuel Corp, located at 74 S Central Ave. in Hartsdale, the New York Lottery announced.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with players selecting numbers from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery continues to make a significant impact across the state, contributing $3.8 billion to public schools during the 2023-2024 fiscal year, officials said.
